The Intake Process ....

As with every applicant, you will be evaluated in an intake process. Admission to the home depends on an assessment of your ability to function in a voluntary, group-home setting. Priority will be given to women from eighteen to thirty. From this group, available room will be allocated to women who currently are without appropriate housing. Beyond this point, a waiting list will be utilized.

As a prospective resident, you must have completed the following before being admitted to the Hannah Center:

  1. An intake form including personal history.
  2. Release forms signed by prospective resident.
  3. Read the handbook throughly and be willing to comply with all Hannah Center policies and standards.
  4. At least one meeting with the intake team; a family member is welcome to be present.
  5. If at all possible, we ask that you have a birth certificate and Social Security card with you when you move to the Hannah Center.

Please Note: The Hannah Center reserves the right to refuse housing to any woman. Rejection or acceptance to the program will be made by the intake team.
